Meet Wing Monster - Real Wings, Real People, Real Good Wing Monster is a family-run food truck that’s all about great chicken wings, fresh fries, and bringing people together. At the heart of it is Rodd Murphy - a longtime wing lover who turned his passion into something real. Rodd’s wing obsession started back in the ’80s at Sherkston Beach, where he had his first unforgettable wings from a tiny shack near the water. Since then, he’s been perfecting his own recipes, testing them out on friends and family at every chance - tailgates, backyard parties, you name it. When the time felt right, Wing Monster was born. The truck serves up crispy, never-frozen wings with big flavor, gluten-free options, fries, and fun kid-friendly picks too. But what really makes Wing Monster special is the heart behind it. A portion of merch sales and special events supports Adults in Motion, a local day program for adults with developmental disabilities. The truck even offers hands-on training for program participants who want to get some experience in food service. Wing Monster isn’t just about food - it’s about community and being part of something bigger: showing up at awesome events, teaming up with other great vendors, and bringing good food and good energy wherever we go.
